Chocolate Pizza

Lately I’ve had a bit of a sweet tooth, as if you haven’t noticed from my last few blog posts, but there is one sweeter dish that I had to feature before I switch back to some more savory dishes.

So lets take a minute to talk about pizza.

Being in New York, where pizza is one of the most popular foods around here my appreciation of it has definitely gotten more.

After moving here I have tried so many different types of pizza that I have lost track but my favorite types of pizza that I have had are definitely the dessert pizzas. I have never had a dessert pizza before coming to New York and now I don’t think that I can live with out them.

My favorite dessert pizza that I have found is one that uses all different chocolate including bittersweet chocolate, white chocolate, and nutella.

This pizza has a very rich flavor and is almost impossible to eat on its own and will go great with a cup of milk.

Chocolate-Strawberry Panini

As weird as this may sound, one of my favorite ways to eat a meal is in a sandwich form.  When you think about it sandwiches are very convenient.  It is very easy to eat them on the go, you can combine some of your favorite foods and ingredients into one bite and if you have weird tastes, you can hide your selection beneath the bread.

With that said, I had to find a chocolate sandwich to put on this blog. After searching for a little I found a sandwich that I personally could eat on a daily basis.

In case you haven’t guessed by reading some of my post, I’m all about putting all of my favorite foods together and finding the perfect combination.

With this sandwich I did just that by combining strawberries, nutella and pound cake in the form of a panini!

Making this heavenly sandwich is very simple.

First, cut the pound cake into slices.

Next, spread the nutella on both slices of the pound cake.

Then, place sliced strawberries in-between the two pieces of cake.

Lastly, put the sandwiches on the panini grill for about two minutes, or until the sandwich turns golden brown.
